Christmas Tree

We Have been going to Christmas Tree Acres to get our Christmas tree for about 13 years. It is a place outside of LaSalle. You can go their and walk through the many trees to pick out the perfect one and cut it down. We always have a really fun time. We found a hay bale so Jacob and David jumped off it. The weather was pretty nice that day. Today we have about 6-7 inches of snow and it is still snowing! Yea! We were wondering if it was ever going to feel like winter. Just last week we had weather in the 70's.

This is a video I took at church. David loves music. He was dancing to the music that was playing after church. I had just finished taking Jacob and Davids picture for our Christmas cards and he started dancing. He's so cute:) Don't you agree?

Thanksgiving

We had a very nice Thanksgiving. My Aunt Nancy, Uncle Jerry, and Cousin Brett were here from Kansas. It is always fun having them around. Jacob thinks Brett is pretty cool, and Brett really took time to play with Jacob which meant a lot to him. I think they even developed a special hand shake or something, I'm not for sure because of course I'm not one of the "in" people. We had a great dinner at my parent/grandparents house and played some games. The weather was cold and their was snow on the ground, which made it all the better for Jacob to snowboard down the swing set slide , onto the ramp Eddie and he built at the end:) They were cold but had a great time playing.I did go shopping the day after, you can read about that adventure in the previous post. Hope you all are doing well and had a great Thanksgiving.

My Black Friday

I started my day off by going shopping with my niece at 8:-) We went to Big Lots to get this cool DVD/VHS thing-a-mo-bob and they were out of stock. I sould have gotten up at 3 and start shopping at 4 but i didn't. Ooops! We then headed to Kohls where they did not have my knife set but they did have Eddie's griddle. Yay:-) Then we went to Ross! BIG BARGAINS. (shopping tip: if u put something in your cart, don't keep looking for it on the rack because it's a big waste of time and you feel stupid when you see it and your checking out! I know i'm blonde!) I was so proud of my special purchase for my benifit, a collection of 80's Mega Hits! It's pretty sad when my niece who is 14 knows more lyrics than i do:-( She was so nice she got the lyrics to pretty much every song and now Eddie and I are going to have a karoke night! My niece is my favorite i don't know what i would do without her in my life. (This is keesha, don't you think i deserve a big present for christmas?) Anyways i hope you found many bargains on your black Friday!

This is a picture of Jacob and David Last falll at the pumpkin farm and this year at the pumpkin farm, notice how big my boys are getting! Jacob played in a roller hockey tournament last saturday in Denver. Eddie had to go by himself with David because I hade to work. But as always they had a great time even though I was not their. Jacob's team did well.

This is Eddie,apparently I am blogging,and because I am new at this I don't know what to talk about.I have a roller hockey game to play tonight at 7:00(go Full Throttle!!) .Blog you later.

Yea, I did it! This is from our day at the pumpkin patch. They had a big hay stack for the kids to climb on. David loved picking out his pumpkin or punkin as he called it. Sorry the picture is sideways, just tilt your head to the left and David will look just fine:)

I don't know is the name of my blog for now until I can come up with something. I seem to say I don't know a lot so that is what I put. This blog is for my cousins and their families. I love reading their blogs and seeing pictures. I hope as I get this figured out that you will enjoy mine also.
